Jamin Thomas, an Independent IT Consultant, has been supporting IHS' IT needs since 2016. He maintains and administers the network systems, wireless infrastructure, hardware systems, and software applications for IHS and provides technical support to IHS staff. In addition, he also researches new technology and how it can be properly incorporated into training system design.
Prior to coming to IHS, Jamin was a member of the US Army Reserves. A veteran of two tours to Kuwait and Iraq, he worked as a patient administration technician for a combat support hospital. After leaving the military in 2012, he began working at OhioHealth as a Sr. Desktop Support Tech, mainly at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Primary responsibilities included desktop and printer support, device refreshes and replacement, and software applications troubleshooting.
During his spare time, he enjoys traveling to new locations, (both inside the USA and abroad), studying crypto-currency trends, photography, time with friends and family, and finding new brunch and happy hour places in and around Columbus, Ohio.
