Amanda Beach is a dynamic, innovative, and collaborative professional with 15+ years of experience developing and leading cross-functional teams throughout the child welfare system. She has spent over two decades serving and advocating for children, families, staff and organizations through direct service, leadership, training development, and public policy analysis.  

Amanda is a results-driven, participant style leader who strives to create an environment of mutual respect and empowerment to fuel productivity, innovation, and creative problem solving. Her passion to improve the lives of vulnerable and underserved populations drives every encounter, project, and role she faces. 

​Throughout her career, Amanda’s roles have included Child Welfare Caseworker, Contract Negotiator, Intake Supervisor, Project Manager, Program Manager, Associate Director of Performance Review, and Training Program Manager. She has served as a diversity, leadership, and child welfare consultant and trainer for best practice design since 2012. Amanda has also authored, revised, and/or trained curricula related to child maltreatment, empowering families, relationship building, interviewing, separation/removal, placement, trauma, diversity, and system reform, among other topics.

Amanda is accomplished in program/training development, implementation, and evaluation; continuous quality improvement; project management; leading diverse populations; federal, state and accreditation reviews; effective communication and relationship building; and strategic planning.

​In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her exceptional husband and inspiring two boys. She is a passionate anti-racist and racial justice activist and makes sure to set aside time for self-care activities, including writing, traveling, meditating, and practicing yoga.
