TRAINet sponsors conferences and training events
for member agencies. These include intensive skill-building workshops
on CCBIT technologies; sessions to showcase member agencies' programs
and products; formal networking sessions; and planning sessions
for collaborative development of resources. Conferences also enable
members to review new curricula, software, videotapes, books,
and other training products and technologies that support the
CCBIT system. Conferences are open to child welfare trainers and
practitioners who are interested in learning about CCBIT and its
associated resources and technologies.
Regional TRAINet conferences facilitate collaboration
by states and provinces within a circumscribed geographic area,
to promote collaborative training events and the sharing of trainers
across state and provincial lines.
TRAINet also holds periodic symposia for fully-developed
CCBIT systems to collaborate in strategic planning for systems
change.
