Kelley Gruber, LISW

Kelley Gruber has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and received her Master of Social Work degree from the Ohio State University.  She is an experienced trainer, having taught preservice and other relevant workshops for foster caregivers and adoptive parents.  In her work as an adoption specialist, Kelley provided a wide range of services, including counseling for birthparents considering an adoption plan, preparing foster and adoptive families, and providing adoptees and their families post-adoption support.  Kelley has also provided individual and family therapy to adolescents and pre-adolescents in foster care.   Previously, Kelley was an Adoption Liaison with the OCWTP, working with the CORTC and the SEORTC, and representing the Adoption Liaisons on the OCWTP Statewide Steering Committee. 

Kelley joined IHS on September 1, 2005, as a training coordinator within the foster care, adoption, and kinship care unit of IHS.  Her primary responsibilities include providing technical assistance and ongoing support to the RTCs, trainer development and support, and implementation of work team activities.
