Christina Carter joined IHS in 1995 as a computer specialist and currently serves as NARCCW's Director of Information Systems. With a bachelors degree in English from Wittenberg University, Christina is also responsible for editing all IHS products and for providing technical writing for IHS' contract with the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program.
In her role as Director of Information Systems, Christina is responsible for the development and management of all MIS functions and technology-related initiatives for NARCCW and its four component programs. This includes managing NARCCW's network; purchasing, configuring, and maintaining all of NARCCW's computer equipment; managing NARCCW's web site; managing the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program's web site; chairing the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program's Technology Committee, providing ongoing consultation related to TrainTrack Training Management SoftwareTM; and providing direct training and consultation to IHS staff in technology-related initiatives.
Christina has conducted training workshops at national TRAINet conferences, and has provided technical assistance to TRAINet members on technology and computer-related topics.
